I am writing this first blog post to record my journey of creating this blog. My motivation is that I want to start writing again. I stopped writing for several months after letting myself get discouraged by things happening in my life.
However, God always convicts me to write. It helps clear my mind and gives me peace when I write about Him, which draws me closer and closer to Him. Writing motivates me to pray, reason with Him, and study His Word, the Bible. It helps me know Jesus more, follow Him, and walk with His Spirit in obedience by making His Word my life's principles and values.
Before this, I used to write on my Facebook timeline. But when I wanted to revisit my past posts, I couldn't easily find them all. Scrolling down took too much of my time just to recover and organize them.
So, I realized I needed to put them somewhere online where I could keep them organized. That way, when I want to revisit them to draw inspiration from past conversations and the promises God made years ago, I can easily do so.
That is why I created this personal blog site. It serves as an online journal of my journey and my study of His Word through the years, until we meet Him face-to-face.
Through this blog and my writing, I hope to love Him even more, become more like Him, and enjoy the life He has given me. I want to be a person of integrity who fears the Lord. Even though I may stumble into sin as the days go by, this will remind me of daily repentance—of going back and staying in fellowship with His Holy Spirit. My goal is to walk this path until I bring the people He has entrusted to me to Him, and until we finally meet again. Amen.
Even though creating this site from code to production with the use of AI brought many headaches and sleepless nights, I still pursued this project. It will serve as my part in His Kingdom and deepen my personal relationship with Him. This blog is the place where God and I meet.
Though I don't have much experience in web development, especially on the backend side, AI helped me a lot. Of course, the wisdom and gifts the Holy Spirit gave me to guide the AI also helped bring this project to realization—moving it from a plan in my heart's desire to something God approved. The latter is the most important of all.
This will be the start of documenting my journey with Him, and I will be happy to do it day by day as I seek Him every day. Amen.
